Terms of Service
Last updated October 5, 2026
These terms govern your use of Quid, a messaging, voice and meeting service for teams (the “Service”). Quid is operated by Jisun Eum, South Korea (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use Quid on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.
1. Accounts
- You must be at least 14 years old and give accurate information when you sign up.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and devices secure, and for activity under your account.
- You may sign in with an email and password or with Google.
2. Workspaces and your content
- A workspace (“organization”) belongs to the people who run it. Its owners and admins decide who can join, what roles people have, and can remove members.
- You and your organization keep all rights to the messages, files, recordings and other content you put into Quid (“Customer Content”). You give us permission to store, process and transmit Customer Content only as needed to provide the Service.
- We don’t sell Customer Content and don’t use it for advertising.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- send spam, malware, or harassing, threatening or abusive content;
- record or caption other people without the notice and consent the law requires;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts or our infrastructure, or disrupt the Service;
- resell the Service without our written permission.
We may suspend accounts or workspaces that violate these rules.
4. Free trial, plans and billing
- Each new workspace gets a 14-day free trial with full access. No payment details are needed for the trial.
- After the trial, continued use requires a Quid Pro subscription: US$4 per member per month, or US$40 per member per year, as shown on our pricing page. Guests and bots are not charged. Taxes are added where applicable.
- The number of members billed follows your workspace automatically. Changes are prorated and appear on your next bill.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Owners and admins can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- If a trial ends or a subscription is cancelled or not paid, the workspace becomes read-only. Your content isn’t deleted because of this.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period.
5. Payments through PayPal
Subscriptions are paid through PayPal, using your PayPal balance or a card. We are the seller; PayPal processes the payment and its User Agreement applies to your PayPal account. You can see and stop the automatic payment in your PayPal account at any time, which cancels the subscription at the end of the paid period. We never see or store your full card or bank details.
6. Refunds
You can get a full refund of any payment within 14 days of the charge. See our Refund Policy.
7. Third-party services
Some features connect to services we don’t control, such as Google sign-in, your browser’s speech recognition for captions, and AI apps you choose to connect (for example Claude through the Quid MCP server). Their own terms apply to them. Connected apps act as you and can only access what you can access; you can disconnect them at any time.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Quid available and secure, but we don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice so you can export your content, and refund any prepaid period that remains.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Quid and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations of these terms, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to export your content.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of the Republic of Korea, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we’ll notify workspace owners by email at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use Quid after changes take effect means you accept them.
